Mrs. Rivas has over 13 years experience as a licensed clinical social worker having a dual language and multicultural background. She has worked with diverse groups such as LGBTQ+, individuals with problems with addiction to drugs, those who are survivors of sexual assault and violent relationships in intimate relationships, and so on. Ms. Rivas began serving Erie residents in the year 2019. Now offering telehealth behavioral health services. Ms. Rivas has worked with post-partum and pregnant women for several years. She is an expert in trauma-informed and adult EMDR. She also offers group and private counseling, as well as a Medication-Assisted Treatment Program, referrals to specialist care and women's support groups. Amanda also volunteers at Best Friends Animal Society, aiding homeless animals to find permanent new homes. Amanda believes in the Best Friends slogan "Save Them All", and she's determined to make Los Angeles a city with no crime.
