Andrea Bowen (born Andrea Bowen) is an American actress. She began by appearing in Broadway musicals Les Miserables and The Sound of Music. In 2004, she began playing the role of Julie Mayer on the ABC comedy-drama series Desperate Housewives, a role she played on a regular from 2004 until the year 2008.
